IUMI updates (January 2024)

We would like to inform you that the web links in the IUMI Hull Tutorial which didn’t work in some of the modules have been corrected. An update has also been made to the “Listed areas” section in module 6 on “War risks”. These reflect the changes made by the Joint War Committee in December 2023 to include Guyana.

Also, we are pleased to inform you, that this year's IUMI conference hosts from the German Insurance Association GDV and VHT have agreed to sponsor one free pass for the 150-year anniversary conference which will be held in Berlin from 15-18 September 2024. Successful candidates who have passed the IUMI Hull or Cargo Exam can now apply for the free seat at the Berlin conference. The applicant with the highest score will win the free registration (NB: Travel and accommodation have to be borne by the successful candidate). To apply please send your exam certificate to Hendrike Kühl (hendrike.kuehl [at] iumi.com) by June 15, 2024.
